 How to add more rows or columns to my worksheet?
 Answer

 

The answer is, you cannot add more rows or columns to an Excel worksheet.   You cannot reduce the count of rows either.

Excel worksheets come with a set count of rows and columns.
For Excel version 2003 or before, a worksheet grid is comprised of 65,536 rows and 256 columns.
In Excel 2007, the worksheet grid is comprised of 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns.

If you need more rows than that, you probably need a database platform such as Access.
If you need more than 16,384 columns, you should rethink your application's design, as no database worth its salt would require that many fields in one table.
