Excel Aptitude Test

xat“XAT” is an acronym for Excel Aptitude Test. XAT is an innovative test that measures knowledge and develops aptitude for Microsoft Excel.

The test was created by Tom Urtis, founder of Atlas Programming Management, and Microsoft Excel MVP. Tom’s goal for the business community is to increase employee work efficiency, operational productivity, and financial profitability through XAT’s innovative system of testing, training, and consulting in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program.

Most companies are either unaware of, or do not know how to close, the enormous gap between the Excel skills their employees possess, and the full breadth of power that Excel offers. A common example of this productivity gap is when tasks are done manually rather than by automation or by more efficient features in Excel that the user may not be familiar with.

Most users of Excel only touch upon its basic features, as little as 5% by popular estimates. These users, through no fault of their own, simply don’t know what they don’t know. This knowledge gap results in errors and countless hours of lost productivity and profitability for businesses of all sizes.

Businesses, employees, and job-seekers prosper when they understand what features are available in Excel, how to use them, and why. With over 20 years of experience in business management and Excel applications development, we are confident that our XAT product will help businesses of any size, and Excel users of evey skill level, to become more productive and more profitable.

We look forward to the XAT being a valuable tool for Excel users worldwide. Please email Tom directly, at tom@atlaspm.com, if you’d like to be among the first to directly receive our public announcement email in February of XAT’s full release.
